We're Talking About Love All Month Long
Words: mater mea
What does love mean to you, to us? Let's find out.
Love. It's a small word, but it packs a lot of meaning and emotion.
It's an universal experience that drives many of our actions—from the most banal (going to work everyday to support the family you love) to the most intoxicating (saying you want to spend the rest of your life with someone).
This month we'll be addressing the concept of love in some of its many forms: coupled love, familial love, love of career, and the love a mom has for her child. We'll share a roundtable discussion with women about what love means to them, as well as single moms discussing what it's like to search for love. We'll also speak to a documentarian about following a family matriarch who gives as much love as she can when her daughter and granddaughter are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
We're also accepting submissions on the subject: What was a moment in your life that taught you about love? Have you ever fallen out of love? How has the search for love affected your life? We want to hear as many voices talking about love—in all its many forms—as possible! If you're interested, please email us at email@example.com. (And for those of you who would like to get a leg up on March, the theme will be "Phenomenal Women.")
We hope you enjoy the articles you see over the course of February. They were made with love.
